How to reach and grow your target audience.

Are you struggling to build your client base? Do you feel like you are constantly shouting about your business… but getting nothing back? 📣

First things first, who are you shouting to?

If your social media looks like the above, posting isn’t going to help! 🙅🏼‍♀️ You need to build your audience first!

“But how do I do that?!”

Great question, but I have a couple of things I want to ask you first 🙊

1) Who is your IDEAL client?

2) Are you proactively engaging with these people?

1 – Your Ideal Client

Where do they live? What job do they have? What’s their budget? Do they have kids? What are their hobbies? What’s their name? You need to figure out everything about your IDEAL client! Build a profile, or a couple of profiles, and write these down!

Then, each time you need to brand your business, create a post, send a message etc – you need to think about this exact person. That way, you’re always using your brand voice to speak to your target audience, hence always attracting your target audience!

2 – Reach Your Target Audience

Even if your branding is now on point, and you’re speaking to your target audience, if you have no audience to speak to… what’s the point?

You need to go out and find these people! They won’t just fall in your lap. If you use Instagram – you need to build an unspoken “business besties” group to empower each other! You can follow people who are like your target audience. Engage (like, comment etc) with posts. Share other people’s business posts and in return you will find that people engage and share your things too!

Likewise, if you use Facebook, add yourself into groups where you know your target audience will be. Network and make friends!

The Bottom Line

The bottom line for how to reach and grow your target audience is that you need to understand who you want to attract, and then be proactive in finding them!

Once you’ve got the ball rolling, you will find it so much easier to keep it moving.
