Acceptance of terms

Your access to and use of Maxwell Melia Academy (the “Website”) is subject exclusively to these Terms and Conditions. You will not use the Website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms and Conditions. By using the Website you are fully accepting the terms, conditions and disclaimers contained in this notice. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions you must immediately stop using the Website.

Bookings

Course purchases should be made online or via telephone. There is a £95 non-refundable booking fee for Hair Extension courses, and a £200 non-refundable booking fee for any Hair Loss Integration courses. However, if you have chosen an online course or one of the payment plan options, 100% of the course amount is non-refundable due to instant course content access. It is your responsibility to provide accurate contact information when making the booking, but please also check your junk folder.

Payment for courses is required in full at least 21 days prior to the training date. Purchase guarantees you will receive the course material and qualification within 12 months. However, course purchase does not guarantee a specific training date or location. Failure to pay the amount owed at least 21 days before your booked date will incur late payment fees, as well as risk of losing your space on the course. An email will be sent to you within 5 days of your booked training date containing information regarding your course venue, instructions and details. If you have not received this prior to your training, please contact us. If you have any further queries do not hesitate to email us at [email protected].

Maxwell Melia Academy will not be held responsible for confirmation and emails not received by students, and no refunds will be issued under these circumstances. Once any training material has been provided, all courses become 100% non-refundable.

Payment plans

“Pay It Monthly” payment plans are subject to credit approval and you will gain access to online courses immediately after acceptance. For in-person courses, you are able to attend a course straight away and can select any date available upon acceptance. If you are not accepted, your deposit will be refunded to your account by Pay It Monthly within 5 days. Please contact Pay It Monthly directly for any queries relating to your account with them at https://payitmonthly.uk/

If you are not accepted with Pay It Monthly – we do have our own payment plan option – please contact us at [email protected] for information. Please note that if you choose to use our Maxwell Melia Payment Plan you must have completed all payments before you can attend/receive any courses. If you miss the deadline for your chosen course, please contact us to reserve a space on the next available course. You must inform us at least 21 days prior to your original booked date.

Returns, course transfer or cancellation

Our returns policy includes all products on our website (excluding courses – please see below for details). Products may be returned to us within 14 days of purchase. All products returned must be unopened and in the original packaging suitable for resale.

Online course bookings are 100% non-transferrable and non-refundable. If you would like to cancel your classroom/venue booking, you can do so at least 21 days prior to your original booked training date with £95 cancellation fee for Hair Extensions, or £200 cancellation fee for Hair Loss Integration Courses. Your course date or location can be transferred or placed on hold at least 21 days before your original booked training date for a £20 administration fee. This fee must be paid at the time of transfer. We may only transfer your booking if there is availability on the course requested. If you have placed a space on hold for a course that you cannot attend, full payment is still required at least 21 days prior to your original booked training date, and your space will be held for a maximum of 12 months from your booking date.

If you do not attend or cancel your booked course or refresher date without at least 21 days notice, you will still be liable to pay the full course fee and will forfeit your refresher space on future dates. Maxwell Melia Academy reserves the right to change or cancel a course date, the course venue or the educators at any given time without prior notice. In the event of a course cancellation, Maxwell Melia Academy will offer a course date transfer, but no compensation for any costs incurred. This does not affect your statutory rights, since purchase of one of our courses only guarantees that you will receive the course content within 12 months, but not on a set date or at a set location.

All cancellation and transfer requests must be sent in writing to [email protected]. Cancellations must state that you wish to cancel your course, otherwise your space will be placed on hold.

Any refresher courses after the 3 months has passed will be subject to a fee of £195 to retrain using the student’s own kit within 12 months of the original training date. Otherwise, you can take our online refresher training for just £55 per method.
